The Selgi Villa 2 project was conceived as a weekend home on the site of Selgi Villa 1, serving as its replacement but with different conditions. The client’s requirements—such as the villa’s program and the number of users—had changed, primarily due to economic reasons. However, certain requests, like the visual connection with the garden and the project’s transparency, remained unchanged.
Therefore, the overall strategy for spatial arrangement, similar to Selgi Villa 1, was pursued based on the adjacency of enclosed spaces with open, semi-open, and semi-enclosed areas. In other words, the villa’s enclosed spaces were dispersed across the site in a way that allowed for the creation of multiple intermediate spaces with varying degrees of enclosure between them.
This arrangement of spaces—with diverse levels of enclosure—resulted in an organic form that extends across the ground in multiple directions. Considering that the garden is enclosed by a wall, this method of occupying the land not only ensures the required level of privacy but also maximizes visual connection with the surrounding environment by increasing the surfaces that interact with the garden.

پروژه‌ی ویلای سلگی 2، به عنوان یک خانه‌ی آخر هفته در سایت ویلای سلگی1 به عنوان جایگزین و با شرایطی متفاوت تعریف شد. خواسته‌های کارفرما از جمله برنامه‌ی ویلا و تعداد کاربران آن به دلایل عمدتا اقتصادی تغییر پیدا کرده بود؛ اما خواسته‌هایی همچون نحوه‌ی ارتباط بصری با باغ و شفافیت پروژه همچنان پابرجا بود. بنابراین استراتژی کلی جانمایی فضاهای مختلف، مشابه ویلای سلگی 1، بر اساس همجواری فضاهای بسته با فضاهای باز، نیمه‌باز و نیمه‌بسته پیگیری شد. به عبارت دیگر، فضاهای بسته‌ی ویلا به گونه‌ای در سایت پراکنده شدند که امکان تشکیل فضاهای بینابینی متعدد با درجات محصوریت متفاوت در میان آن‌ها شکل گیرد. این شکل از قرارگیری فضاها با درجات محصوریت متنوع، منجر به ایجاد فرم ارگانیکی شد که در جهات گوناگون در سطح زمین گسترش یافته است. با در نظر داشتن محصوریت باغ توسط دیوار، این گونه از اشغال زمین، علاوه بر فراهم کردن محرمیت مورد نیاز، با افزایش جداره‌های در ارتباط با باغ، ارتباط بصری با محیط پیرامون را به حداکثر می‌رساند.
