Jahad Villa is a project that explores the relationship between architecture and the ground. A key concept in the project was creating a distinction between the landscape and the ground, and defining the latter as an integral part of the building’s architecture. A suspended platform was established at the level of the access road and above the natural ground level, serving as the main stage for the project’s primary spaces.
A second platform, emerging from the ground itself, hosted the open and semi-open spaces—essentially functioning as the project’s landscaped area. The rest of the site remained untouched and in its natural state, reinforcing the conceptual duality between the ground and the landscaped area. This arrangement allowed for maximum use of the views in both the northern and southern directions—toward the forest and the sea.
In terms of functional layout, the main spaces—including the living and lounge areas—were positioned on the upper platform. A guest bedroom, kitchen, and service areas were also defined on this level. The main master bedroom was located one floor above, positioned to take full advantage of the panoramic views in both directions.
This spatial arrangement, unified in a cohesive architectural form, resulted in a double-height living space and maximum transparency at both the ground level and the master suite level above. Recreational spaces, such as the swimming pool and its associated service areas, were located on the lower platform. A guest suite was designed as an independent unit adjacent to this area.
ویلای جاهد پروژه‌ای است که به نحوه‌ی ارتباط معماری و زمین می‌پردازد. ایجاد تمایز بین محوطه(landscape) و زمین (ground) و تعریف آن به عنوان بخشی از معماری ساختمان در این پروژه، موضوع مهمی بوده است. یک پلتفرم معلق در تراز گذر و بالاتر از سطح زمین تعریف شد که عرصه‌ی تحقق فضای اصلی پروژه باشد. پلتفرم دوم برآمده از زمین عرصه‌ی تحقق فضاهای باز و نیمه باز و به تعبیری محوطه‌ی پروژه بود. سایر سطوح زمین در راستای تاکید بر دوگانه‌ی زمین و محوطه، بصورت بکر و دست‌نخورده باقی ماند. در این شرایط حداکثر استفاده از چشم‌انداز در هر دو جهت شمال و جنوب(جنگل و دریا) امکان‌پذیر خواهد بود.
در مرحله بارگذاری عملکردی، فضاهای اصلی شامل سالن و نشیمن در سطح پلتفرم اول جانمایی شد، یک اتاق خواب مهمان، آشپزخانه و فضاهای خدماتی نیز در این تراز تعریف شد. اتاق مستر اصلی در یک طبقه بالاتر، جهت استفاده از بهترین چشم‌انداز در دو جهت جانمایی شد. قرارگیری این بسته‌های فضایی در قالب یک فرم منسجم، شکل‌گیری یک سالن با ارتفاع بیشتر از حد معمول و حداکثر شفافیت در تراز طبقه‌ی همکف و مستر طبقه‌ی اول را در پی داشت. فضاهای تفریحی مانند استخر و خدمات متناسب با آن، در پلتفرم پایین تعریف شد و سوییت مهمان نیز به صورت یک واحد مستقل در کنار آن قرار گرفت.
